Nanda Srinivasan

Nanda Srinivasan is an experienced professional in transportation and safety engineering, currently serving as Associate Administrator at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) since January 2020. In this role, Nanda oversees the development of key behavioral safety programs and leads a team focused on enhancing traffic safety measures. Previously, Nanda held the position of Director at the U.S. Energy Information Administration, where management of data integration and survey development was a primary responsibility. Nanda's career also includes serving as a Senior Program Officer at the Transportation Research Board, managing transportation projects, and as an Associate at Cambridge Systematics focusing on travel surveys. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior GIS Analyst at Science and Engineering Associates. Nanda holds a Master of Science in Transportation and Highway Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
