Kathryn A. Erickson

Kathryn A. Erickson has a diverse work experience. Kathryn A. started their career as a Registered Nurse at Intermountain Healthcare in 2006 and worked there until 2016. Kathryn A. then joined University of Utah Health as a Registered Nurse and worked there until 2018. In 2018, they became a Care Manager at HealthCare Partners, and in 2019, they took on the role of Charge Nurse at Nathan Adelson Hospice. In the same year, they also became the Medical Director of the Las Vegas Thunderbirds Hockey Team. In 2023, they joined the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization as a Sr. Clinical Quality Director & Analyst. Additionally, since 2014, they have been working as a Sr. Research Analyst at the University of Utah, Division of Epidemiology, Department of VA.

Kathryn A. Erickson's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. Kathryn A. first attended the University of Utah from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Piano Performance. After that, they attended Dixie State University from 2004 to 2006 and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic).

Kathryn then enrolled at Weber State University from 2006 to 2013 and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Currently, their education is ongoing at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they are pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a specialization in Family Practice Nurse/Nursing.

In addition to their degrees, Kathryn has obtained several certifications. These certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, CITI Ethics Certification, NHPCO, Pediatric Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Research Ethics and Compliance, and TNCC. The institutions granting these certifications include the American Heart Association, Central Committee on Research Involving Human Subjects (CCMO), and the Emergency Nurses Association.
