Marion Keenan is an experienced hospice consultant and educator, currently working independently since June 2010. In addition, Marion serves as a fitness instructor at MidDelmarva YMCA since 2008, specializing in yoga and Pilates. Marion has been a faculty member for the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization since 2002, teaching a course on ethics for hospice managers. Prior experience includes a role as a fitness instructor at World Gym from 2009 to 2012 and a lengthy tenure at Coastal Hospice, where Marion served as President and later as a consultant to the President, significantly contributing to the organization's early milestones. Marion began an academic career as a full-time lecturer in philosophy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore from 1975 to 1981, holding leadership positions within the faculty assembly. Marion's education includes an Executive MBA from Salisbury University and advanced and undergraduate degrees in philosophy and education from Villanova University and Saint Joseph's University, respectively.
