Sarah Bal, CAE has a diverse work experience in the education and research field. Sarah currently serves as the Director of Education at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the Club Management Association of America for over a decade, holding various roles such as Director of Virtual Education and Research, Director of Research and Industry Resources, and Manager of Informational Resources. Sarah'sresponsibilities included overseeing online learning and research strategies, developing educational content, managing websites and publications, and conducting needs assessments. Sarah also worked as a Graduate Assistant and Resident Tutor at the University of South Carolina, where they assisted with teaching, research, and mentoring undergraduate students.

Sarah Bal, CAE, obtained a Masters International Hospitality & Tourism Management degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of South Carolina. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hotel, Restaurant, & Tourism Management from the same university. In 2019, they obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained the Lumina Learning: Spark, Leader, Leader 360 Qualified certification from Lumina Learning.
