Amrit Cheng currently serves as the Director of Digital Communications at the National Immigration Law Center, where leadership encompasses the organization's digital strategy, including email, social media, and web content. Previously, Amrit held the role of Director of Communications at WildEarth Guardians and served as a Content Producer for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., where noteworthy video projects significantly advanced racial justice issues. Earlier experience includes a Communications Strategist position at the ACLU, overseeing digital strategy for voting and immigrant rights, as well as roles in media relations at the Clinton Foundation and other legal and communications positions. Amrit Cheng holds a Graduate Certificate in Documentary Media Studies from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Oberlin College.
