Tuula Wester

Tuula Wester is a Senior Specialist at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) since June 2023, focusing on editing implementing acts and participating in European Health Data Space projects. Previously, Tuula served as a Product Owner at Istekki Oy and held various roles at QMS Nordic Oy and TietoEVRY, specializing in customer needs analysis, product vision communication, and agile scrum team support within the healthcare domain. Early career experiences include software development for patient record systems and nursing roles at Oulu University Hospital in various departments. Tuula holds multiple degrees in Information Technology, Telecommunications, and Nursing from Oulu University of Applied Sciences and Oulu Adult Education Centre.
