Robert Butera

Vice President For Research Operations at National Institute of Aerospace

Robert Butera holds multiple titles at the Georgia Institute of Technology, serving as the Chief Research Operations Officer, Professor, Vice President for Research Development and Operations, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, and Founding Co-Director of the Neural Engineering Center. Additionally, Robert is a member of the Board of Directors at the National Institute of Aerospace and has held leadership positions at the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society. Robert has a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Bioengineering) from Rice University and a BEE in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
