Doug Rose is the NIFA Administrative Operations Officer. He joined NIFA in March 2022 from USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) where during his tenure he served as a member of the Leadership Team providing oversight of Human Resources, Procurement & Contracting, Property, Financial Management, FOIA, Ethics and Operations. He began his federal career with USDA in 2009 and has worked in several positions to include, Business Services Specialist, National Veteran Emphasis Program Manager, Human Resources Specialist and worked on detail in Washington D.C. as the National Business Services Specialist.
Prior to joining federal service, he served in the United States Marine Corps from February 1986 to September 2006 when he retired as a Personnel Officer.
