John Salmeron

John Salmeron has extensive experience in the field of agricultural technology and research. John began their career as a Director of Program and Alliance Management at Intrexon Corporation before moving on to become the Senior Director of Research & Development in their AgBio Division. John was responsible for leading a team of scientists and overseeing the discovery and validation of genes related to agronomic and crop productivity. John also played a crucial role in coordinating R&D operations and engineering the production of secondary metabolites for stress tolerance in plants.

Salmeron then joined Precision BioSciences as the Director of PlantSciences, where they built and managed the PlantSciences team. John utilized gene editing technology to develop plants for safer and more productive food sources.
