Pedro Martinez-Julia

Pedro Martinez-Julia is a highly experienced researcher in the field of automation and networking architectures, currently working at NICT since June 2016, focusing on resource allocation in virtual network environments for the Internet of Things. Prior to this, from April 2009 to May 2016, Pedro conducted research on networking architectures for the Future Internet at the University of Murcia, with an emphasis on security aspects from an identity perspective. An earlier role as a developer at Xepient involved creating web applications using the .NET framework. Additionally, Pedro participated in Google's Summer of Code 2005, contributing to the development of the initial code base for the "DataGridView" control in MONO. Academic achievements include multiple degrees from Universidad de Murcia and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, culminating in a PhD in Computer Science.
