Adrienne Cheng

Adrienne Cheng currently serves as a Technical Program Manager at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) since October 2023. Previously, Cheng worked at the National Science Foundation (NSF) from September 2020 to October 2023, holding positions as a Science Associate and Associate Program Director, and as an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow. Cheng's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where research focused on mammary gland function during obesity, as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health Sciences: Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Biology from the University of Michigan. Additional experience includes teaching and consulting roles at various academic institutions.
