Premie Fernandes

Premie Fernandes is currently a Research Scholar and Teaching Assistant at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, specializing in functional organic materials, donor-acceptor π-conjugated systems, and room temperature photoluminescent molecules since December 2022. Previously, Premie served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at St. Xavier's College, where responsibilities included teaching Neuroscience and Drugs as well as Organic & Industrial Chemistry. Past roles include a Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Trainee at ACHARYA Group, a Subject Matter Expert at Digipplus, and a Summer Intern at XRCVC, focusing on accessible content creation. Premie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and has completed a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University) and St. Xavier's College, respectively.
