Haydar Celik is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of medical imaging and clinical research. Currently serving as a Scientist at The National Institutes of Health since August 2024, Celik previously held the position of Senior Clinical Researcher at Promaxo from January 2022 to November 2024 and has a long tenure at the National Institutes of Health as a Scientist from June 2015 to July 2022. Academic contributions include serving as an Assistant Professor at George Washington University and Children's National from May 2013 to May 2022, and as a Research Fellow at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre from November 2010 to May 2013. Celik completed a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a focus on Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Bilkent University, where also conducted research on adaptive RF Coil Technologies. Areas of expertise encompass statistical analysis of clinical trials, machine learning applications, MR-HIFU, and medical image processing, with particular emphasis on the safety of interventional devices in MRI environments.
