Joel Gascot is an experienced audio-visual production specialist with a robust background in multimedia and instructional roles. Currently serving as an Audio Visual Production Specialist at The National Institutes of Health since June 2020, Gascot previously held the position of Multimedia Production Specialist at the Library of Congress from March 2019 to June 2020. A significant part of Gascot's career includes service with the 55th Signal Company (Combat Camera) as Operations NCOIC from May 2015 to January 2019, and as an instructor at the Defense Information School from May 2014 to May 2015, leading the BTVEM Course. Prior to this, Gascot worked as Audio/Visual Director for the White House Communications Agency from April 2007 to April 2014, overseeing several maintenance roles. Earlier teaching experience also included instructing BTVEM at the Defense Information School from June 2004 to April 2007. Gascot holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Penn State World Campus, earned between 2012 and 2019.
