Ankit Soni

Ankit Soni is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and venture capital investments. Currently serving as Principal at the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) since August 2018, Ankit focuses on private equity and venture capital investments and co-investments. Prior to NIIF, Ankit held the position of Vice President for Private Markets at Moody's Analytics Knowledge Services, where responsibilities included business development and account management. Ankit's career also includes roles as an Investment Professional at CDC Group plc, analyzing private equity investments across Asia, and as an Analyst in Investment Banking at Nomura, where involvement spanned corporate finance activities such as M&A advisory and financing solutions. Ankit began the professional journey with internships at Shutl and IREDA Ltd., specializing in business development and renewable energy project financing, respectively. Ankit holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Manipal Institute of Technology.
