Andrea Harshman, MHA, CHCP, CMP-HC has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Andrea started their career at the Colorado Christian Home Tennyson Center for Children and Families in 1995 as an Assistant Director of Development. In 1997, they moved on to work at the Medical Education Collaborative as a Program Coordinator. Andrea then joined the Geological Society of America in 1999 as the Meetings Team Lead. In 2002, Andrea started their tenure at National Jewish Health, where they held the position of CME & Projects Manager from 2002 to 2011. Andrea then became the Director of the Office of Professional Education at the same company in October 2011. Their broad experience in program coordination, development, and education within the healthcare and nonprofit sectors makes their a valuable asset to any organization.
Andrea Harshman, MHA, CHCP, CMP-HC has a BA in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they obtained from 1988 to 1991. Andrea later pursued a Master's in Health Administration (MHA) from Webster University, completing it from 2009 to 2010. Prior to their college education, Andrea attended Broomfield High School. Additionally, they hold certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business (obtained in 2021), as well as the Certified Meeting Professional - Healthcare designation (CMP-HC) from the Convention Industry Council (obtained in 2014). Andrea is also a Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP) from the Alliance For Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
