Connie has been consulting to senior executives for over twenty-five years. Her areas of expertise include executive development and selection, succession planning, senior team development and HR strategic planning. She works effectively with all levels including Boards of Directors, CEO’s, senior level executives and middle managers. Prior to consulting Connie was a Human Resources executive at U S West (now Century Link). Some of Connie’s clients include: Mayo Clinic, Airvana, S C Johnson, Tyco Electronics, Motorola, MetLife, Conagra, MediaOne, Microsoft and Xerox.
Connie holds an M.B.A. and an International Business Certificate from the University of Colorado. In addition she is a licensed psychotherapist with a B.S. in psychology and an M.S.W. from the University of Utah.
In 2014 Connie was appointed by Colorado’s Governor to serve on the Supreme Court Nominating Commission and she is a member of the Board of the Colorado Judicial Institute. Connie also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at National Jewish Health and is on the Finance, Investment and Strategic Planning Committees.
Connie is passionate about the arts and has been an oil painter since 2003. She is the past President of the Board of Directors and now a lifetime Board member at the Art Students League of Denver (ASLD). Connie also served on the Denver Foundation’s Art and Culture Committee in 2012.
Connie has a life-long commitment to women’s issues. She co-authored the published research, “Gender’s Unspoken Role in Leadership Evaluations (2007).” She has served on two non-profit boards in support of this passion: The Women’s Wilderness Institute and Girls in Golf. She is a current member of the Denver Electing Women PAC.
Connie is an avid golfer, biker, hiker, walker, traveler and a principal of Klinge/McArthur, LLC.
