Jennifer Taylor-Cousar

Jennifer Taylor-Cousar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Jennifer currently holds several roles at the American Thoracic Society, including Chair-elect of the International Conference Committee and membership on the Awards Committee and Scientific Grant Review Committee. Jennifer previously served as Chair of the Clinical Problems Assembly Programming Committee.

At National Jewish Health, Jennifer has held various positions, including President of the Medical Staff, Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and Medical Director of Clinical Research Services. Jennifer has also served as the CF TDC Director, Medical Staff President-Elect, and Interim Associate Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Jennifer held faculty positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.

Jennifer has also been involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where they served as Immediate Past Chair of the Sexual Health, Reproduction, and Gender Research Working Group, an Adult CF Care Representative on the Board of Trustees, and a member of the Clinical Research Executive Committee. Jennifer was also involved in the Racial Justice Working Group and served as an Advisor to the Board of Trustees.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer served as an Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico.

Jennifer Taylor-Cousar completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Stanford University in 1993. Jennifer then pursued their medical degree (M.D.) at Duke University School of Medicine from 1994 to 1998. Following this, Jennifer completed their residency at Duke University School of Medicine in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from 1998 to 2002. Jennifer went on to pursue a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine from 2002 to 2006. Finally, Jennifer obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science (MSCS) from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 2012 to 2015.
