Trey Farmer

Trey Farmer, Ph.D., is a skilled professional in the fields of genomics, biology, and biochemistry, currently serving as the Genomics Laboratory Manager at National Jewish Health since October 2022. Prior to this role, Trey was an Adjunct Professor at Metropolitan Community College from September 2019 to July 2023, teaching courses in Intro to Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. Trey’s academic journey includes significant postdoctoral research experience at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, alongside teaching roles at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Trey earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Concordia University, Nebraska.
