Pope Ward currently serves as the Senior Vice President at National Journal since April 2024. Previously, Ward held the position of Chief Research Officer at the Advisory Board for the Arts from June 2019 to February 2024 and co-taught a course on hate groups at Georgetown University in the Fall of 2019. As the founder of Allium Health, Inc. from September 2017 to December 2018, Ward aimed to improve care delivery for risk-bearing organizations by addressing social determinants of health. Additional experience includes roles as Owner at Independent Consultant and Private Consulting on Syndicated Businesses, Senior Vice President of Product Strategy at CorpU, and Executive Director at The Demand Institute. Ward also served as a Senior Adviser at the Office of Management and Budget from January 2010 to February 2012. Ward earned a BA in Philosophy from Amherst College and participated in the Williams-Mystic Maritime Studies Program.
