Elizabeth J. Sussman-Dabach, PhD, RD, FCRS, is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in academia and healthcare. Currently a Professor at California State University, Northridge, since August 2013, Sussman-Dabach holds multiple leadership roles, including Senator in the Academic Senate of the California State University and Vice Chair of the Committee for Protection of Human Subjects (IRB). As the Associate Director of the Institute for Community Health and Wellbeing, Sussman-Dabach has significantly contributed to health-related initiatives. Additional roles include serving as Publications Chair for the Council on Renal Nutrition at the National Kidney Foundation, Medical Advisory Board Member at the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona, and former Treasurer for the Renal Dietitians Practice Group. Sussman-Dabach's educational background includes a PhD in Physical Activity, Nutrition and Wellness from Arizona State University and an MS in Nutrition and Applied Physiology from Columbia University, complemented by a BS in Nutrition and Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach.
