Eric Terrell Walton, MA, currently serves as a Program Specialist at the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan since September 2021 and as a Co-Founder of The Dad Evolution, L3C, focused on a fatherhood initiative since August 2019. Walton has an extensive background in education, having worked as the Early Childhood Director at Most Holy Trinity School from April 2013 to September 2020 and receiving the Teacher of the Year award for the 2014-2015 academic year. Additional teaching experience includes positions at Old Redford Academy and Birmingham Public Schools, as well as a decade of work as a substitute teacher in various school districts. Walton's earlier career includes roles in community organizing and political campaigns, notably as a Base Vote Coordinator with the Michigan Democratic Party. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Wayne State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Alma College, and ongoing studies towards an Ed Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
