Rachel Machowicz has extensive experience in health care administration and service coordination. Currently serving as Program Coordinator at the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan since March 2022, Rachel previously held the position of Assistant Program Coordinator. Prior to this role, experience includes working as a Patient Service Representative at IHA from November 2019 to March 2022 and as a Toll Booth Supervisor at Huron-Clinton Metroparks from May 2013 to December 2019. Additionally, Rachel completed a Quality Service Internship at The Eisenhower Center in early 2019. Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Eastern Michigan University, earned between 2015 and 2019.

Since 1955, the NKF of Michigan, Inc. (NKFM) has led the fight against life-threatening chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney disease. We have enhanced the lives of many Michigan residents through our prevention programs and patient services. Our efforts have also changed legislation, ensured quality care for patients and advanced medical knowledge. We have informed the public about kidney and urological diseases and increased awareness of the critical need for organ and tissue donations. The mission of the NKFM is prevent kidney disease and improve the quality of life for those living with it.
