Kaj Samsom Cpa

Kaj Samsom CPA, MPA has extensive experience in financial regulation and auditing, currently serving as Chief Auditor and Director of Government Relations at National Life Group since June 2019, previously holding the position of Deputy Chief Auditor. Prior experience includes serving as Tax Commissioner for the State of Vermont from January 2017 to June 2019, and various roles within the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation, including Deputy Commissioner of the Insurance Division and Director of Company Licensing. Kaj has also contributed to local governance as the Treasurer for Montpelier Alive and as Chair of the Moretown School Board. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Business Administration, both from the University of Vermont.
