Michael K Morey

Michael K Morey has extensive experience in technology and infrastructure, currently serving as VP of Infrastructure and Shared Services at National Life Group since June 2015, following roles as AVP and Director of Infrastructure Operations within the same organization. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Chief Technology Officer and Enterprise Architect for the State of Vermont from July 2005 to June 2015 and worked as an Information Technologist specializing in Oracle Datawarehousing and Analytics at the US Department of Homeland Security from January 2003 to July 2005. Michael's career also includes leadership roles at Weidmann Electrical Technology, where positions ranged from Director of Information Technology to Senior Technical Service Engineer. Michael began the professional journey at Kennametal as a Systems Engineer and has a strong educational background with a Master's in Information Technology from Champlain College and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Lyndon State College.
