Housing Advocacy Organizer at National Low Income Housing Coalition

Billy Cerullo is a seasoned housing advocacy organizer currently employed at the National Low Income Housing Coalition since April 2024. Previous experience includes serving as an organizer with LIUNA from June 2022 to March 2024, where significant achievements included leading a successful NLRB election campaign and managing a public sector campaign involving over 600 workers. As Co-Director of the Community Organizing Fellowship at Rising Organizers from January 2020 to October 2022, Billy developed training curricula and cultivated new organizers. Earlier roles include supporting families at Briya Public Charter School, community organizing for education funding with PAVE, and coordinating a tutoring program for struggling readers with AmeriCorps. Billy holds a Bachelor's degree in American Government and Politics from Suffolk University and has participated in specialized training programs to enhance community organizing skills.
