Laura Greene

Laura H. Greene is a highly accomplished physicist who currently holds the positions of Marie Krafft Professor of Physics at Florida State University, Chief Scientist at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, and Past-President of The American Physical Society. Prior to these roles, Laura H. had a distinguished career at various institutions including the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Brookhaven National Laboratory. Greene's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University and a B.S. in Physics from The Ohio State University.

National High Magnetic Field Laboratory

The only facility of its kind in the US, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory is the largest and highest-powered magnet laboratory in the world.
