Tracey Newman

Assistant Vice President at National Medical Fellowships

Tracey Newman has worked in the pharmaceutical and medical industry for over 20 years. Tracey began their career as a Clinical Research Associate at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) in 1997. Tracey then moved on to become a Regional CRA at PPD in 1998. In 1999, they joined Amarex Clinical Research, LLC as a Director of Clinical Data Management. In 2005, they took on the role of Task Manager II, CDM Services at Harris Corporation. In 2010, they became a Senior Manager of Clinical Data Management at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc. In 2015, they were promoted to Associate Director of Clinical Data Management at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development and Commercialization, Inc. In 2016, they became the Associate Director of Strategic Planning and Operations at Otsuka Information Technologies (OIT). In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Strategic Planning and Operations at OIT PMO at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.). In 2020, they joined Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc. as the Director of Portfolio Strategy & Asset Management. Most recently, they were appointed as the Assistant Vice President at National Medical Fellowships, Inc. in 2022.

Tracey Newman obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Howard University between 1991 and 1996. In May 2021, they earned a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. In May 2020, they earned a COVID-19 Contact Tracing Certificate from Coursera. In January 2022, they earned a Problem Solving Certificate from McKinsey & Company.
