Besa Pinchotti has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Besa began their career as a News Anchor and Reporter at KSAN-TV in 1999 and later moved on to work as a News Anchor at WCTI TV 12 and FOX 8/14 from 2002 to 2007. In 2008, they transitioned to Capterra, Inc., where they served as the Director of Marketing. During their time there, they developed and implemented the marketing strategy for a B2B website and collaborated with various teams on branding and messaging strategies. In 2013, Besa joined the National Military Family Association and took on roles such as Communications Director and Senior Director for Advancement, where they focused on advancing the organization's mission through marketing, development, and public relations efforts. Besa is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the National Military Family Association, a role they assumed in 2021.

Besa Pinchotti pursued their Bachelor of Journalism degree from 1996 to 1999 at The University of Texas at Austin. Besa'sfield of study during this time was Broadcasting, and they also earned a Business Certificate alongside their degree. In 2005, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
