Sarah Yaussi

Sarah Yaussi has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and publishing. Sarah started their career at Magic Paris as an English Editor in 2001 and later worked as a Stageaire at La Chaîne Parlementaire (Assemblée Nationale). In 2002, they worked as a Freelance Contributor for The Dewitt Times and contributed as a Contributing Writer for The Post-Standard. From 2003 to 2005, Sarah worked as a Newsgathering Assistant at BBC and also served as a Managing Editor at Heldref Publications, where they managed editorial content for academic journals. In 2005, they joined Hanley Wood as the Editor of Big Builder magazine, responsible for creating and managing editorial content for the publication. During their tenure, they played a significant role in the planning and execution of the Big Builder conference. Since 2011, Sarah has been associated with the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), starting as the Vice President of Industry Communications and later assuming the role of Vice President of Business Strategy. In these roles, they have spearheaded the creation and editing of content for various publications, developed research products, and planned content for virtual and in-person events, providing thought leadership to the multifamily industry.

Sarah Yaussi obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on English Language and Literature/Letters and French Language and Literature/Letters from Colgate University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Sarah then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Magazine, Newspaper, and Online Journalism from Syracuse University, completing their studies in 2003.
