Michey Landsman Singer

Michey Landsman Singer has a diverse work experience with various organizations. Michey Landsman is currently serving as the Development Director for Emerging Events at the National MS Society, where they spearhead a new employee engagement program called "Connect for a Cure." Previously, they worked as the Development Director for Walk MS at the same organization, overseeing a fundraising revenue goal of nearly 2.5 million and collaborating with corporate leaders to drive revenue and employee engagement.

Before their roles at the National MS Society, Michey worked as a Development Manager for Bike MS/Walk MS, where they implemented strategic priorities and plans to increase revenue through acquisition, retention, and stewardship of participants, top fundraisers, sponsors, and volunteers. Michey Landsman also served as the Development Manager for Bike MS NYC during the same period.

Prior to their work with the National MS Society, Michey had independent experiences as a knitting instructor and a founding member and event chair at REED Academy, where they devised fundraising strategies and executed events to generate additional revenue. Michey Landsman also served as the Vice President of the Home School Association Board of Directors at J. Spencer Smith School, leading committees and managing budgets for events, fundraisers, and educational activities.

Michey began their career as a Special Events Manager at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, overseeing multiple events and managing logistics, catering, budgeting, sponsor recruitment, and participant/guest relations. Michey Landsman also worked as a Special Events Coordinator at the American Museum of Natural History.

Mickey Landsman Singer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication/Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge, from 1982 to 1987. Michey Landsman also holds additional certifications as a Certified Substitute Teacher from the State of New Jersey and as a Registered Yoga Teacher from Yoga Alliance.
