Bruce Ford is a highly experienced consultant and conservation scientist with a focus on microfading, exhibition lighting guidelines, and rock-art conservation. Since March 2008, Bruce Ford has served as a consultant at Art & Archival Pty Ltd, specializing in rock art research, conservation, and management, alongside his role at the National Museum of Australia, where Bruce conducts collections research and develops microfading methods. Bruce Ford briefly worked as a scientist at Tate in 2011, contributing to anoxic display projects. Bruce Ford holds a Master of Arts in Museums and Collections from The Australian National University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Conservation of Rock Art from the University of Canberra, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry from the University of Canterbury.
