Geoffrey Belknap

Geoffrey Belknap currently serves as the Keeper of Science and Technology at National Museums Scotland, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Geoffrey was the Head Curator and Curator of Photography and Photographic Technology at the Science Museum Group from June 2017 to September 2022. As a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Leicester and Harvard University, Geoffrey focused on significant projects including the Harvard Office for the Darwin Correspondence Project. Educational qualifications include a PhD in the History of Science from the University of Cambridge, along with previous degrees in History from York University. Additional experience encompasses roles in research, supervision, and curation at various academic and cultural institutions.
