Jane Miller

Jane Miller has extensive experience in community engagement within the museum sector, currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager at National Museums Scotland since January 2004. In this role, Jane oversees a team focused on inclusion, engagement, and outreach initiatives to enhance access and participation across museum collections. Previously, Jane held positions as a Community Engagement Officer at National Museums Scotland, where projects aimed to inspire diverse audiences, and as an Education Officer with East Lothian Museums Service, delivering educational workshops and developing content for exhibitions. Jane's career began as a Lead Facilitator at National Museums Scotland, where responsibilities included developing interactive workshops and educational programming. Jane holds a Professional Learning Module in Community Engagement from The University of Edinburgh and an MA Hons in History of Art from the same institution.
