Aya Tasaki possesses a robust background in philanthropy, law, and social justice advocacy, primarily focusing on issues related to marginalized communities. Currently, Aya serves as the Associate Director of Philanthropic Engagement at the National Network of Abortion Funds, having previously held roles including Senior Manager of Institutional Giving and Grantwriting Manager. Prior experience includes working as the Manager of Policy and Advocacy at Womankind, Rising Above Violence, and as a Poverty Justice Solutions Fellow at the Community Development Project - Urban Justice Center. Aya's legal experience encompasses internships at the Cardozo Law School Civil Rights Clinic and the Kathryn O. Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic, where representation of vulnerable clients was a critical responsibility. Additional contributions include board membership at the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance and involvement in community organizing with The Audre Lorde Project.
