Marissa Todd

President at National NSSLHA

Marissa Todd has a range of work experience in education and leadership roles. Marissa was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society at Seton Hall University, where they also served on the Clinical Advisory Board, supporting the Office of Clinical Experiences and Applied Research. Marissa was also an ambassador for the College of Education and Human Services and participated in an autism research study.

Outside of Seton Hall University, Marissa was a Piratethon Member at the Buccino Leadership Institute, where they monitored funding and participated in sponsorship events to raise money for The Valerie Fund. Marissa also held the position of President for the National NSSLHA organization.

In the field of education, Marissa worked as a Community School Supervisor for Middlesex Public Schools and as a Clinical Intern in the Cranford Public School District. Marissa was also an Education Senator for the Student Government Association of Seton Hall University. Additionally, they gained experience as a Clinical Intern for the SOUTH ORANGE MAPLEWOOD BOARD OF EDUCATION, where they observed and instructed in an inclusion classroom, administered reading assessments, and implemented behavior programs.

Overall, Marissa has a strong background in education, leadership, and community service.

Marissa Todd attended Seton Hall University from 2021 to 2027. Marissa pursued a degree in Education and Speech Pathology, specializing in Special Education and Teaching. In addition to their degree, they obtained two certifications in Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research and Social-Behavioral-Educational from the CITI Program in September 2022.
