Richard Lynch

Richard Lynch possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an Executive Committee and Board Member for the National Ocean Industries Association since April 2022. Lynch has held multiple senior leadership roles at Hess Corporation since April 2014, including Senior Vice President for Technology and Services and Senior Vice President for Drilling, Completions, and Developments. Prior to Hess, Lynch was with BP from September 2002 to December 2013, holding significant positions such as Special Advisor to COO Production and VP for Global Wells, as well as leading response efforts during the Deepwater Horizon incident. Lynch's career began with a General Manager position at Carigali Triton Operating Company under a secondment from BP/ARCO. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a High School Diploma from Cairo American College.
