Baek Soo Peggy Lee

Baek Soo Peggy Lee is a seasoned hydrologist with extensive experience in hydrologic modeling and water resource management. Currently serving as a Techniques and Development Hydrologist at NOAA since March 2016, Baek Soo Peggy Lee focuses on forecasting flooding events in the Missouri River Basin. Prior experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Instructor at Oregon State University, where Baek Soo Peggy Lee taught various water science courses and served as Program Manager for the Eco-Informatics Summer Institute. Additional professional experience encompasses work as a Staff Hydrologist at Waterborne Environmental, Inc., conducting analyses related to pesticide effects on endangered species and drinking water, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Desert Research Institute, where Baek Soo Peggy Lee explored the use of remote sensing for water quality assessment. Baek Soo Peggy Lee holds a Ph.D. in Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering from Oregon State University, a Master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho.
