Katharine Zamboni

Katharine Zamboni is an experienced attorney with a diverse background in environmental law and governmental service. Currently serving as an Attorney-Advisor at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration since April 2020, Zamboni has also held positions as General Counsel (Pro Bono) at Earth to Autism Inc. and Assistant County Attorney for Manatee County Government. Previous roles include Senior Attorney at the Southwest Florida Water Management District, and Attorney positions with the United States Department of Justice (National Security Division) and the U.S. Department of the Interior. Zamboni began a legal career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and has experience as an Analyst for the National Wildlife Federation. Zamboni earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from the University of Richmond.
