Katherine Renshaw

Katherine Renshaw possesses extensive experience in environmental law and policy, currently serving as the Chief of the Environmental Review and Coordination Section at the NOAA Office of General Counsel since May 2010. Prior roles include Attorney-Advisor in the Fisheries and Protected Resources Section at NOAA, as well as Deputy Associate Director for Regulatory Policy at the White House Council on Environmental Quality from December 2014 to August 2015. Katherine began the legal career as an Associate Attorney at Earthjustice and completed a law clerkship for Hon. Jan E. DuBois in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Katherine Renshaw earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York University School of Law and holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Environmental and Technology Studies from Carleton College.
