Michael Doig

Michael Doig is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marine science and education. Since December 2010, Michael has held multiple positions at NOAA, including Chief of the Production Branch G, Executive Officer of NOAA Ship Ferdinand R. Hassler, and Scientific Support Coordinator. Michael also serves as a NOAA Corps Commissioned Officer since August 2010. Prior to joining NOAA, Michael worked as an Earth Science Teacher at the NYC Department of Education from September 2006 to August 2010. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Science in Teaching from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
