Paul Hillman is an experienced filmmaker and biologist with a diverse background in documentary production, particularly focused on fisheries and conservation issues. Since July 2003, Paul has worked at NOAA's Ocean Media Center as a filmmaker, HD cinematographer, and editor, producing documentaries and web videos on various topics, including sustainable fisheries, marine mammal research, and habitat restoration. In addition to this role, Paul has been contracted by ECS since September 2019 to continue producing science and conservation-based documentaries for NOAA's Fisheries Communications Office. Earlier experience includes serving as a video production specialist through a contract with Earth Resources Technology and contributing to projects for Teletrends, Inc. and BeadforLife in Uganda. Paul holds an MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University-Bozeman and a B.S. in Biology from Trinity College-Hartford.
