Robert McLean

Robert McLean is a skilled Biological Science Technician with extensive experience in aquatic investigations and fish population research. Currently employed at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) since December 2020, Robert previously held positions at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as a Field Crew Lead and Biological Science Technician, focusing on the San Joaquin Delta Estuary and San Francisco Bay. With a background as a Scientific Aid with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Robert has led research on native and endangered fish species. Academic accomplishments include a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and Marine Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by research work on sea turtle demography and habitat use in a study abroad program.
