Jake Crosby

Jake Crosby is an experienced marine operations professional currently serving as a Marine Operations Co-Ordinator and Workboat Skipper at Red Lion Marine Ltd since August 2023. Concurrently, Jake holds the position of Third Officer at the National Oceanography Centre, involved in operations aboard the RRS Discovery. With previous roles as Second Officer and Dynamic Positioning Officer across various companies, including Østensjø Rederi and Tidewater, Jake has expertise in navigation, maintenance of life-saving appliances, and oversight of scientific deployments. Early career experiences include certifications as Chief Mate and Deck Officer Cadet, providing a strong foundation in maritime operations. Jake is advancing education at South Shields Marine School, pursuing a Chief Mate Unlimited degree, and also working towards a Private Pilot License at AeroSchool Teesside.
