Josh Whiteside

Josh Whiteside is a Senior Infrastructure Analyst at the National Oceanography Centre since July 2021, with a background as a Linux System Analyst and expertise in technologies such as Bash, Ansible, Python, and VMware. Prior experience includes roles as an IT Analyst at Oh Polly, where coordination of integrations between web services was key, and as IT Support at John Beech Ltd, achieving Cyber Essentials and ensuring GDPR compliance. Josh's career began with various roles including IT support and administration at Wirral Radio, with additional experience as an intern programmer at Tag Games and an enrollment officer at Wirral Metropolitan College. Josh holds an MComp in Computer Science with a focus on Game Engineering from Newcastle University and has A Levels in Computing, Maths, and Psychology.
