Layton Quinton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Layton most recently worked as the Head of Marine Information Products and Services at the National Oceanography Centre starting in April 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Product at Optimal Strategix Group, Inc. from June 2018 to April 2021, where they led a product team and worked closely with clients to inform product development. Layton also has experience as a Business Engagement Manager at Barclays Technology Centre from February 2017 to February 2018, where they supported the implementation of a digital transformation project. Layton worked as a Marketing Manager at the University of Manchester from August 2012 to December 2016, where they managed marketing campaigns and developed digital metrics. Before that, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager for Mersey Ferries, Spaceport, and U-Boat Story from March 2002 to June 2009, leading marketing activities and overseeing attraction design. Layton has also worked in marketing roles at Meritor and ERF Trucks, where they were responsible for European marketing and developed successful marketing campaigns.

Layton Quinton pursued their higher education with dedication and commitment. Layton started their academic journey at Liverpool John Moores University from 1985 to 1989, where they successfully attained a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Business Studies. Building upon this foundation, Layton continued to enhance their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Marketing at the University of South Wales from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their academic achievements, Layton has also obtained professional certifications to further develop their expertise. In May 2022, they earned the "World Class Manager" certification from The Global Growth Institute.
