Sam Castle

Sam C. is a Mechatronics Engineer at the National Oceanography Centre since July 2023, specializing in the Ocean Technology and Engineering group. Prior to this role, Sam worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at ZELP Ltd. and led product design projects at dreamteam design, including high-end gifts for Imperial College London. Sam's experience includes designing mechanical solutions at Textron Specialized Vehicles, administrative roles at Moss Valley Medical Practice, and internships focusing on interactive installations at Jason Bruges Studio. With a Master of Engineering in Design Engineering from Imperial College London and a background in music from the Royal Northern College of Music, Sam combines technical proficiency with creative design skills.
