Ryan P. Murphy

Ryan P. Murphy is an experienced outdoor and wilderness education professional with a strong background in facilitating experiential learning programs. Currently serving as an instructor for both NOLS Wilderness Medicine and Landmark Learning since November 2016, Ryan has also held positions at George Mason University, where responsibilities included Assistant Director and Coordinator of Outdoor Adventures. Prior experience includes working as a Residential Experiential Education Facilitator at Princeton-Blairstown Center, a Senior Outdoor Educator at YMCA Camp Chingachgook, and a Wilderness Field Instructor at Second Nature Entrada. Ryan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Hamilton College and ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Sport and Recreation Studies at George Mason University.
