Ashley Pipkin

Outdoor Recreation Planner at National Park Service

Ashley Pipkin has an extensive background in ecological stewardship and outdoor recreation planning, currently serving as an Outdoor Recreation Planner with the National Park Service since January 2015. In this role within the Natural Sounds and Night Skies Division, Ashley focuses on resource stewardship and science initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Natural Sounds and Night Skies Biologist for the Pacific West Region, where assistance was provided to various parks, and as a Biological Science Technician managing ecological outreach and conducting surveys. Additional roles include Lake Mead Natural Resources Data Manager with American Conservation Experience and various positions with the National Park Service and The Nature Conservancy. Ashley holds a Master of Science in Biogeography from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Geography from the University of South Carolina.
