Celeste Bernardo has extensive experience with the National Park Service, serving from September 2003 until retirement, and holding key positions such as Acting Deputy Regional Director for Interior Region 1, North Atlantic-Appalachia, Superintendent, and Deputy Superintendent. Prior to this role, Celeste worked at the USS Constitution Museum as the Director of Education & Interpretation from September 2001 to September 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in History from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from the State University of New York Cortland. Celeste also pursued further studies at Harvard Kennedy School.
